Let's Talk About Race
Friday, November 23, 2012
Start: 11:00 am |
Preschoolers and their adults are welcome to come and talk about race! ECHO is proud to join forces with Reading to End Racism, an all-volunteer community-based initiative supporting children and families across Vermont and the United States to develop awareness and skills for countering racism and building connections among people of diverse backgrounds. The program uses literature and personal stories to create a welcoming environment to engage children and families in conversations about race and racism in the United States. The program concludes with a related craft! Free with admission 1.877.324.6386.
