Hard cider has come a long way over the last few years and has quickly become one of the fastest growing beverage categories in the industry. On Thursday, October 10, ECHO friends from the 21+ crowd will learn about the science, artistry and flavors of hard cider from some of the industry’s best hard cider makers of the region.
Nine cider houses converge at ECHO and provide tastings of over 30 types of hard cider. Learn the science of what it takes to make great cider from these cider makers and tasting experts.

Albert Leger, Eden Ice Cider - Ice Cider - history, process, chemistry
Bryan Holmes, Citizen Cider - Analytics, controls, and chemistry involved in commercial production of cider.
Plus an Orchardist - Steve Wood from Farnum Hill - History of cider-making, heirloom apple varieties, and the future of cider apple orchards.
