9th Annual MudFest

Saturday, April 12, 2014 through Sunday, April 27, 2014
Start: 10:00 am

MudFest Information

As sure as April showers bring May flowers, spring also signals Earth Day and Mud Season. We will be celebrating in muddy fashion with ECHO's 9th annual Earth Weeks’ MudFest!

MudFest begins Saturday April 12 and continues for sixteen fun-filled days ending on Sunday, April 27.

ECHO will be abuzz with muddy activities and games every day. Get your fingers dirty, create roads, and move mud in our popular mud table. Go out on ECHO's top deck and try your hand at the all time favorite activity, the MUD FLING everyday at 2:30!

Muddy Music Festival
From Saturday April 19 through Tuesday, April 22 Earth Day we will present a festival of music featuring two performances each day at noon and 1 p.m. Enjoy some knee-slapping and fun music with acclaimed musicians from Vermont as well as from Boston, all produced by family-friendly Re-Bop Records.

MUDDY MUSIC SCHEDULE:
Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20
12:00 The Van Burens from Boston
1:00 Senayit, with Senayit Tomlinson & Pam McCann

Monday APRIL 21:
12:00 The Funky Crustaceans
1:00 The Starline Rhythm Boys

Tuesday EARTH DAY April 22
12:00 Jonny G. & the Re-Bops, featuring Jon Gailmor
1:00 Special Earth Day Mystery Guest Band!

And, if you're hungry, Sugarsnap will be serving up some surprising goodies in the ECHO cafe during Mudfest. BUGS! There will, of course, be the usual delicious food, but every day guests can be adventurous and sample edible bugs and buy specials with bugs in them (or on the side). We are not kidding!

Get out of the house, come to ECHO to play in the mud, throw some mud, listen to some great music and learn about the importance of taking care of our planet during ECHO's EarthWeeks' MudFest!

Sponsors include Northfield Savings Bank, WCVT Classcal Vermont Radio, WDEV Radio and WPTZ News Channel 5.
