Celebrate the Lake 3rd of July Party at ECHO

From 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm

3rd of July Party at ECHO
A very special 3rd of July celebration to benefit access to the educational programs at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center

“All of my senses are engaged when I watch the fireworks from ECHO! I can hear, feel, smell and taste it. It is amazing!” An enthusiastic ECHO guest, July 3, 2013

Every July 3rd the City of Burlington treats thousands upon thousands of people to an epic waterfront fireworks show on Lake Champlain. This Burlington tradition has grown to include music, festivals, and special events happening up and down the waterfront that begin in the afternoon and continue until the wee hours.

This year, for the first time, ECHO is allowing the public to view the fireworks from the aquarium and science center with a memorable party of our own called “Celebrate the Lake”! Our “Celebrate the Lake” 3rd of July Party will include dinner (American BBQ-style), music, cash bar, face painting, airbrush tattoos and access to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center through 11 p.m.!

Delicious Food: 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. The award-winning team from Sugarsnap Catering will be putting on a delicious American-style BBQ for all guests…enjoy Pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, beans, potato salad, cole slaw, watermelon, iced tea, lemonade and a cash bar!

Music, music, music! From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. enjoy live music from the band Sticks and Stones featuring Hayley Stone (vocals) and Justin Branch (guitar and vocals) along with Aaron Albee (bass) and Jerry Cloutier (drums and vocals). This eclectic group hits all the genres with classic rock, pop, country and familiar cover songs.

D.J. Dance Party from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (with a break during the fireworks) with master D.J. Jim Companion from Premier Entertainment and Events. At the end of the fireworks, rock out or just sit and relax while the rest of the waterfront visitors fight with the traffic to head home. Enjoy the evening and leave at your leisure as the D.J. will be spinning tunes and Sugarsnap will be serving beverages until 11 p.m.

Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Take it all in from the best seat on the waterfront! Practice your “oohs” and “aaahhhs” now.

Make a special night of it and celebrate Independence Day at ECHO while supporting ECHO’s public education programs!

GENERAL TICKET PRICES: Price includes dinner by Sugarsnap, live band at the beginning of the evening, kid-friendly entertainment including face painting and airbrush tattoos, fantastic location to watch the fireworks, and a DJ in the evening for a post-fireworks dance party.
