Exhibit Opening Weekend: Coffee the World in Your Cup

Coffee: The World in Your Cup, September 13, 2014 through January 4, 2015
Explores how coffee--one of the world's most widely traded commodities--affects cultures economies and environments around the world. Learn about coffee's origin in Africa, its methods of production, and its impact on the environment--from backyard birds to global climate change. Learn about the people who produce our coffee and the efforts to ensure that they earn a fair wage for their work. The exhibit also addresses the botany of coffee, the effects of caffeine on human health, and the art and science of producing a perfect cup. Plenty of interactive and fun components for visitors to enjoy. This exhibit will be at ECHO through January 4, 2015.
