How would you like to be an Energy SUPER HERO? You may or may not want to wear a cape, but we're sure you'll feel empowered to do your part to make smart energy choices once you've experienced our newest traveling exhibit Conservation Questsm and our companion thematic program POWER PLAY!

Just about this time of year most folks are turning their attention to energy efficiency option in their homes. But what about saving money and energy by making different food choices or transportation choices? How about re-purposing an item you would normally throw away and turn it into something useful which is called "upcycling"? ECHO's newest exhibit brings together all these themes in a fun, colorful, highly interactive, hands-on exhibit that teaches us all about energy. What it is, where it comes from and how we use it. It also teaches us why it so important to use it wisely.

The exhibit, opening September 25, features ten interactive displays and dozens upon dozens of activities that engage and educated visitors of all ages. Things that stack, bang, twirl, pop, press, turn, slide and light up are all available, each with a lesson about making smart energy choices and the benefits of living an efficient, healthy lifestyle while conserving energy in the process.

Accompanying this exhibit is our POWER PLAY series of themed events touching upon the variety of ways you can conserve energy and live more efficiently.
