WELCOME TO THE ECHO 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR!

We’re excited you’ve chosen ECHO as the place for inquiry learning. Our mission is to educate and delight our visitors about the ecology, culture, history and opportunities for stewardship in the Lake Champlain Basin. ECHO strives to model the key inquiry process skills of observing, questioning, predicting, and experimenting through our programs and exhibits. Our aim is to motivate discussions with ECHO Exhibit Interpreters and Staff as your students explore 70 live species of animals and over 100 interactive exhibits. Choose a self-guided experience, or build a custom program from our new, extensive Teacher’s Choice school program offerings of 30-60 minute programs all linked directly to Vermont Standards and Grade Expectations in science or history.
