TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - SCIENCE SERIES
Teacher workshops at ECHO run the first Wednesday of the month, October -
May from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Judy Allard, retired Board Certified Biology
Teacher from Burlington High School (and ECHO Volunteer Exhibit Interpreter) and
Tracy Truzansky, ECHO’s Director of Education, will facilitate the 8 session
series for 2008 - 2009. These interactive workshops are geared for 3rd-6th grade
science content, though all teachers are welcome! Delve into background content,
practice student activities, review resources and assessments, and explore ECHO
exhibits.
Minimum of 6 teachers to run.
Maximum of 25 teachers per session.
Fee: $35 per teacher, per session. Full year pre-registration: $175 for 8
sessions.
Scholarships available on a first come, first serve basis. Student teachers are
welcome to attend!
