Become a part of ECHO’s Environmental Teen Leadership Program: The E-team!
Are you interested in animals, science and the environment?
Are you curious about teaching at ECHO and in the community?
Are you a resident of Burlington between the ages of 14-16 years old?
Do you want to get involved?
E-Team members will:
- Interact with the public
- Engage adults, children, and families in science experiments, crafts and
games
- Provide outreach education at Burlington area community centers
- Plan and run Community Science Nights for Burlington area residents
E-Team members will learn:
- Job readiness skills
- Environmental literacy
- Leadership skills
To apply for the E-team, you must be available during the school year on
Thursday afternoons between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays for a four
hour shift.

- Fill out application. (It’s ok to have an adult review it, but the
application should be in your own words).
- Mail or drop off the application by September 13, 2008 to:
