TEEN PROGRAM

Become a part of ECHO’s Environmental Teen Leadership Program: The E-team!

Are you interested in animals, science and the environment?
Are you curious about teaching at ECHO and in the community?
Are you a resident of Burlington between the ages of 14-16 years old?
Do you want to get involved?

E-Team members will:

  • Interact with the public
  • Engage adults, children, and families in science experiments, crafts and games
  • Provide outreach education at Burlington area community centers
  • Plan and run Community Science Nights for Burlington area residents

E-Team members will learn:

  • Job readiness skills
  • Environmental literacy
  • Leadership skills

To apply for the E-team, you must be available during the school year on Thursday afternoons between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays for a four hour shift.

How to apply:

  1. Download the application (PDF)
  2. Fill out application. (It’s ok to have an adult review it, but the application should be in your own words).
  3. Mail or drop off the application by September 13, 2008 to:
