ECHO'S MEMBERSHIP MATCHING GIFT TIME! ECHO's Open Door
Community Access Program Runs November 15 - January 31,

Lake Aquarium and Science Center has the perfect gift giving
idea! Buy an annual membership to ECHO and ECHO will
give an equally valued membership to a needy Vermont family via
our partners at more than 36 social service agencies. The
“You Give, We Give.” program removes economic and social
barriers so that more Vermonters can explore and learn about the
Ecology, Culture, History and Opportunity for stewardship of
Lake Champlain
How to Participate: From November 15,
until January 31, 2012, any purchase or renewal of ECHO
Memberships will be matched with a donation of memberships to
local individuals and families in need. Each year ECHO
distributes over 1500 memberships through this program. This simple and
thoughtful act can help make the holiday season — and the new
year — that much brighter for all.
| An ECHO Membership is not only a gift to the
community, it’s a great “green gift” as well.
Steve Perkins, ECHO's Director of Development, says,
"Where else can you give a gift to a needy neighbor, a
gift to your own family, and support the stewardship of
our beautiful and important Vermont environment all with
one action? Now is the best time to buy and renew!"
Memberships range from $35 per individual to $120 for a
large family. Besides
year-round admission to all of ECHO’s exhibits and
events, Members also receive invitations to exclusive
pre-opening exhibit events; discounts at ECHO’s Eclectic
Gift Shop and ecologically themed Café; plus free admission to over
310 other science centers around the country! Current
ECHO Members whose Membership expires after January 31,
2012, can also take advantage of this special
opportunity — the balance of their Membership will be
credited to their account.

ECHO’s Open
Door community access program, made possible through
partnerships with social service agencies, an EPA
matching grant, and generous community donations. To
