ECHO'S OPEN DOOR |
ECHO’s Open Door is our wide spectrum of community programs providing free or discounted access to ECHO.
|
|
| ECHO’s Open Door Program is designed to allow low income members of our community the same access to ECHO's programs and services as the rest of the community. ECHO coordinates with 38 social service agencies throughout Vermont and upstate New York and more than 600 local and regional schools and libraries to allow as many members of our community as possible access to our programs and services. |
|
The Open Door Program provides the following benefits:
- Library Passes
$4 admission for up to 4 people to Vermont and New York library (located in the Lake Champlain Basin) patrons when they borrow the pass from their local library. More than 600 regional libraries have ECHO passes available for check out at their circulation desks.
- Social Service Agency Vouchers
$2 admission vouchers and complementary memberships are distributed by our regional partners to over 5,600 residents that might otherwise find ECHO cost prohibitive.
- Community Science Nights
Annually, ECHO provides several evenings where we partner with specific organizations to provide their clients with free after hours admission to ECHO, floor demonstrations and science-based encounters, and a hot meal.
- Discounted Admission for Mentors and Mentees
$4 admission for mentors and their mentees through the MOBIUS Mentoring Movement with their Mobius Discount Cards.
