There are many ways to support ECHO's mission! |
Annual Fund
Gifts to ECHO's Annual Fund provide support for all of the
animals, programs, and exhibits that support our mission to
educate the community about the Ecology,
Culture, History,
and Opportunity for stewardship in the Lake Champlain
Basin. These gifts are an essential part of our operating
budget. Gifts of $35 or more include
membership benefits. Make a donation to support ECHO! |

Our Strategic plan, adopted in September 2008, calls for
some exciting changes and improvements. To learn about our

Planned Giving
LEGACY OF EDUCATION & STEWARDSHIP
Planned giving is a great way to make a lasting contribution
to ECHO while taking advantage of favorable federal and state
tax laws. Did you know your gift can:
- Reduce your income taxes?
- Reduce or possibly eliminate capital gain taxes?
- Remove assets from your estate and possibly reduce your
gift and estate tax?
- Provide income for yourself and others during your
lifetime while passing on significant assets to ECHO after
your death?
Bequests (naming ECHO as a beneficiary in your will or
estate) and Charitable Gift Annuities (gifts of $10,000 or
more to ECHO which pays you a guaranteed income for your
lifetime) are two of the most common planned giving
vehicles, and there are many more that our development

Matching Gifts
Does your company match your charitable giving? Matching gifts
are a great way to double your impact.

your employer!
United Way
ECHO is not a United Way agency, but you can write us in
and contribute through payroll deduction at your
workplace if your company is a participating employer.
