DIRECTIONS
BY AUTOMOBILE
From Interstate 89 in either direction, take Exit 14 West
toward Burlington. Route 2 becomes Main Street in downtown
Burlington. With Lake Champlain in view, take a right onto
Battery Street. Drive one block to the light and take a
left onto College Street. ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center at the Leahy Center for
Lake Champlain is located at the bottom of College
Street on the waterfront. Follow signs for several parking
options.
BY FOOT FROM CHURCH STREET MARKETPLACE
Facing the Church at the end of the Church Street
Marketplace, take College Street to the left going downhill
toward Lake Champlain. Cross Battery Street and walk to
ECHO on the waterfront.
BY BICYCLE
ECHO is located on the Burlington bikepath. Biking
is a fun and environmentally friendly way to travel. Bike
racks are available at ECHO for your convenience.
BY FERRY
Travel with or without your car (or bike!) from New York to
Vermont via one of three ferries:
- Plattsburgh to Grand Isle
- Port Kent to Burlington
- Essex to Charlotte

ECHO is one block north of the Burlington ferry dock.
BY TRAIN
Amtrak offers several trains to Vermont, New England and
New York, giving you convenient options for travel to
ECHO. The Vermonter departs and arrives daily from
the Essex Junction station, just a few miles from downtown

BY AIR
Burlington International Airport is located approximately 4
miles from downtown Burlington, and airports in Albany, New
York, Manchester, New Hampshire, and Montreal, Canada also
