This Year, Go Green!

Start the year off right by celebrating in eco-style, and feel good knowing that your party budget goes toward a non-profit inspiring stewardship of our Lake Champlain Basin. Don’t worry about decorations that need to be thrown out or recycled — our turtles, frogs, and 70 other species make for an unforgettable setting, and our more than 100 hands-on exhibits will keep your guests busy!
 

There’s no planning…

We’ll take care of the details. Just bring a cake and whatever refreshments you choose. We provide real plates, cups, and utensils, recycling and compost bins... and of course, the fun!
 

ECHO’s award-winning green building is situated at a hub of alternative transportation on Burlington’s beautiful Waterfront. Encourage your guests to walk, ride their bikes, take the train or bus, or even paddle a canoe! Of course, we also have plenty of parking on site and our building is fully accessible to people of all abilities.

Here’s what’s included:

• Admission for up to 14 people*
• A private room for two hours to host your event
• Plates, cups and utensils**
• Four times to book: Saturday and Sundays, 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

*Additional guests may be included for a charge of $8.50 per adult and $6.00 per youth

**Food and drink must be consumed in the party room we provide

Please note that we unfortunately cannot allow helium balloons into the building, due to our building’s fire-safety detectors. Regular balloons are allowed, and non-latex, eco-friendly designs are encouraged.
