Community,
Government and Private Support of ECHO’s Open Door

WHAT:
- Dignitaries will discuss the ongoing efforts and
successes of ECHO’s Open Door access programs, and the
critical importance of partnerships with government entities
like the EPA, and the private sector, such as with Hannaford
Supermarkets — in tandem with community support — to help
eliminate the cultural, geographic, and financial barriers
to learning about, protecting, and celebrating Lake
Champlain and its wide array of natural and human resources.

- ECHO will also present its special plans for ECHO Earth
Weeks (April 17-30), sponsored by Hannaford Supermarkets,
which embraces Earth Day in the Lake Champlain Basin with
the ECHO Earth Weeks Art Contest, MudFest, student fair, and
Voices for the Lake workshops.
