Safe Are We Against Cyber Attack?
Café Scientifique event on Thursday, March 3, 6:30-8:30 pm at
ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center
BURLINGTON, Vt. —. What does digital evidence tell us? If something is posted on Facebook, My Space, etc. is it fair game for employers, prospective employers, schools, police, and others? What is theft in cyberspace where a copy of the original is left behind? What are the ramifications of a cyber attack?
Join us in a dialogue on Thursday, March 3, 6:30 – 8:30 pm at ECHO’s Café Scientifique where we match thought provoking topics with industry experts! The expert for this next event is Gary Kessler, Gary Kessler Associates, Computer & Internet Security and Forensics.
Guests will be asked to consider and discuss how we protect ourselves on the internet? How we moving globally and individually with the internet? Is the internet stronger or weaker in terms of its resistance to failure because of random problems or an actual attack? What does it mean that “information wants to be free” and much more.
Join the conversation!
