ECHO Presents: VACATION BLIZZARD!February 25 – March 6, 2012
BURLINGTON, VT-- Not enough snow this winter? What are children supposed to do during their February
break? Come experience the Blizzard at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. ECHO will be holding special events
for children during the February vacation running from Saturday, February 25 through Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
Kids can participate in enjoyable winter activities including burying a moose in paper snowflakes
and sharing snow stories to make a pop-up museum. At 12:30 p.m. daily we'll be using homemade catapults to start an
indoor snowball fight! You’ll never know what you’ll find at ECHO this winter.
ECHO’s education team will also be on hand along with the animal care staff to educate guests with daily
demonstrations and animal feedings. PLUS, Guests can enjoy the current traveling exhibit: Seasons of Change, Global
Warming in your Backyard which may just shed some light on the unusual winter we’ve been having.

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center is located at the
Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, on Vermont’s Burlington
