Planning a wedding at ECHO is not only memorable, but also fun. |
With our Lakefront
location, Adirondack views, three floors of sparkling
aquariums, and elegant indoor and outdoor spaces for
rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, and even
receptions, you'll find ECHO to be one of the most
unique locations in Vermont.
Wedding
Rental Rates
ECHO weddings provide exclusive use of the entire building.
This includes all indoor and outdoor public spaces, as well as
access to all of our exhibits from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Our spaces
can seat up to 170 guests for a plated dinner with a dance floor
and 156 guests for a buffet with a dance floor; or we can seat
up to 226 guests for a plated dinner without a dance floor and
212 guests for a buffet without a dance floor.

With the Selective option, you can choose to rent just

| Your Selective rental includes exclusive access to
exhibits on the top floor or bottom floor and use of the deck
from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. The top floor can seat 124 guests for a
plated dinner, or 110 guests for a buffet with a dance floor. Up to 300 guests can be accommodated for a standing reception.
The bottom floor can seat up to 72 people with a dance floor, or
up to 180 guests can be accommodated for a standing reception. |

Potential Fees
- Security fee for events exceeding 250 people
- Set up and clean up fee
- $10/hour staffing fee for someone to staff our
interactive Touch Tank exhibit, should you want your guests
to have access to it.

ECHO can provide the following equipment for your wedding for
an additional cost:
55 gray chairs
40 metal chairs
50 blue chairs
90 red chairs
15 square tables measuring 2.5’ square x 2.5’ high
9 circular tables measuring 3’ wide x 2.5’ high
8 long rectangular tables measuring 2' wide x 5' long
17 long rectangular tables measuring 2’ wide x 5’ long, (seven
of these tables are on wheels)
3 long rectangular tables measuring 5’ long x 2’ wide x 2’ high
What We Can Help You Coordinate
- The bar service
- Food vendor recommendations
- Rental of additional tables and chairs, china, flatware,
linens, etc.
- Services by ECHO Event Partners, such as photographers,
musicians, florists, etc.
Green Weddings
If you are interested in making your wedding or rehearsal
dinner a Green Event, please contact us. ECHO is an
environmentally-friendly organization supporting the Lake
Champlain Basin and its community. Here are some ways we can
help make your ECHO wedding ecology-conscious:
- Choose a caterer
who can help provide your event with locally grown and
produced products. Ask us for vendor recommendations
- Ask our Exclusive Bar Service about what local beers and
wine can be offered to your guests, organic if possible
- Ask one of the florists on our preferred Events Partners
list to provide your event with locally grown flowers,
fruits, and cut greenery
- Rent linens, glassware, and tableware from our exclusive
preferred partner, Vermont Tent Company, instead of
purchasing your own
- Register your guests with one of the many hotels within
walking distance to ECHO to cut down on driving distance and
carbon emissions
