Eclipse 2024 at ECHO

$3 per ticket plus Admission or ECHO Membership

Join ECHO and the Vermont Astronomical Society to celebrate the coming of the total solar eclipse. Enjoy a variety of sun-safe viewing techniques, including sun-oculars, telescope projections, and eclipse glasses. Watch the total eclipse live-streamed as it moves across the US. Explore family-friendly, hands-on activities and a special eclipse pop-up exhibit to learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event.

Personal eclipse glasses included with event admission along with access to all our permanent exhibits, special exhibit Mission Aerospace, and waterside patio.

Additional City-sponsored festivities will be taking place right outside ECHO’s door in Waterfront Park.

Eclipse Timing
  • 2:14 pm: Partial eclipse begins
  • 3:26 pm: Total eclipse begins
  • 3:27:45 pm: Maximum eclipse
  • 3:29 pm: Total eclipse ends
  • 4:37 pm: Partial eclipse ends
Ticketing Information

To manage visitor flow on the day of the eclipse, ECHO will be using timed ticketing. We assume a visit to last about two hours.

Admission and Member ticket prices on Monday, April 8 will include a $3 charge that includes commemorative eclipse glasses, specialty eclipse programming, access to all of our permanent and special exhibits, and more.
