K - 5th Grade Care and STEM Enrichment
ECHO Care & Enrichment is a one day a week care program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade enrolled in hybrid school programs. ECHO Care is staffed by professional educators and offers a unique program that features enriching hands-on STEM activities, supported learning time for school assigned work, outdoor play time, and special access to the museum exhibits and live animals. This fall, there will be 3 four-week sessions offered with a Tuesday or a Thursday option to choose from. Sign your child up for one, two, or all three sessions and let the STEM adventures begin!
Upon registration, you will receive an ECHO Care Family Handbook with more program details, including our robust COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Below are some frequently asked questions:
Will there be daily health checks for the children attending?
Per state guidelines, ECHO will conduct a daily health check for the children attending camps and the camp staff upon arrival each day. This will include a temperature check and a set of health questions.
Will children be required to wear masks?
Staff and children will wear masks. Please pack 2 masks per day. Campers will have physically-distanced seats that serve as “mask break zones” and some outdoor time may be exempt from the mask expectation.
How will campers be separated from other ECHO staff and guests?
ECHO is currently closed to general admission on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ECHO Care program has its own air circulation zone, handwashing stations, bathrooms, and private outdoor terrace located behind ECHO. We also utilize adjacent public park space when we can maintain a safe distance from the public.

*Schedule may vary. Outdoor activities are weather-dependent. Indoor activities may include live animal demonstrations, science experiments, engineering design challenges, or group games.
